What if I told you todays high was . . . . 0. Yup. Zero. Tonights low -15. Tomorrow will be warm at 32. That is with out the wind chill. I didn't leave the house today other than to grab some wood off the porch for the woodstove we use for supplemental heat.

Oh Yea, Ashley Wins!
It will be 5 degrees in Mid-Missouri tonight! My car windshield cracked clean across last night from the cold on my way home from work! Just think how many AG dolls or outfits I could have bought with the money that'll cost me! Hee Hee!
I had a thought the other night to sell off part of my AG collection to afford one of those ventless fireplaces from Lowe's, and then I thought, Mmmmmm, maybe not. I'd rather freeze.

Actually the weather man said it was warmer in Nome (SP?) Alaska today than it was in Southern Coloardo.

It was 80 here in my part of Texas on Sat. Today we have no school because there is ice in the roads. I didn'f want to miss scool so close to Christmas. Now we will have to make it up at Easter . Oh well, we can all enjoy a day together.

We MIGHT get some ice tonight...
I better run to the store and buy bread and milk...
Coming from a TRUE SOUTHERN GAL! LOL

Well, it's now 31 here with light freezing drizzle. The miniscule amount of snow we got last night has all melted off the roads.
The funny thing is that last night I had to go to the grocery store to pick up some rice for a last-minute craft project. The store was packed with people buying milk, bread and beer (heaven help those who can't live 12 hours without beer) to prepare for the "big snow" we would get later in the night. It was only expected to be an inch or so.
I did let DD stay home from school and play in the icy mixture this morning. It was only on the grass and cars. I figured it may be two years before she sees white stuff on the ground again.

I am doing the happy dance right now ! The meteorologist (aka weatherman) this morning said that he fully expects for all the area schools to be closed tomorrow ! Hooray! I love snow days . We didn't get any last year, and only one delay. And I think we are allowed to miss up to two days a school year due to weather, so they won't shorten my vacations because of one snow day .
BTW, has anyone had any major blizzards? A couple of years ago, we got something like 4 feet of snow! I only got to play in it once, though .

Ok Balletmom, "SCHOOL IS CLOSED IN NORTH WEST ARKANSAS" We had a light dusting and we have crazy roads that are curved, so the rain water will drain off, and when we get any frozen precip the cars just slide off the road into the ditch. We are all home and DS came in from Fayetteville and he's eating me out of house and home. He says, "Did'nt you buy this bag of chips just for me?"
